A New Approach - reVisioning Wednesdays in Lent

"One or more Age Groups Doing Something Together."

When: Wednesdays, March 13, 20, 27, April 3 and 10

Dinner from 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. in Fraunfelder Hall

Followed by Three Different Christian Formation Opportunities from 6:45 - 7:30 p.m.

Option 1: Interegenerational Ministry based on Mark 15:1-47 through art, games, cooking, reflection and video in the DeRemer Gallery.

Option 2: A gathering aimed at teenagers and young adults in the House. This Lenten focus will be a study and mock trial, "Who Killed Jesus?"

Option 3: A discussion in Fraunfelder Hall based on the book, :Which Way, Lord?" Utilizing a DVD, this group will explore life's purpose through the journeys of Paul and through the eyes of faith.

Nursery School Summer Program

4 special sessions to enhance your child's summer. Classes run 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday in June and are open to preschoolers three to five years of age including those entering kindergarten in the fall.

You may sign up for as many sessions as you would like. Registration for the 2019 summer sessions will begin on Tuesday, April 9 for children who belong to our school and our church and then will be open to the public beginning Thursday, April 19. All-You-Can-Eat Italian Buffet
and Basket Raffle

Join us on Saturday, March 30, 2019 for an all-you-can-eat Italian buffet. Seating times: 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Followed by a spectacular basket Raffle.

Second Harvest Choice Food Pantry at St. John's UCC

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread...
This pantry, a satellite location for Nazareth and Bath residents, is a once a month opportunity for families and individuals to take home non-perishable food items and occasionally perishable items when available on the third Saturday of this month.  The next food pantry opportunity will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Let us help you plan your wedding. You do not have to be a member of St. John’s UCC.  We will provide an organist, our sanctuary, a wedding host, a minister, a marriage preparation workshop and a rehearsal.

Worship Opportunities

8:00 a.m. Sundays A liturgical service with traditional music.

10:45 a.m. Sundays A blended worship experience with audio visuals in a family friendly environment. Child care is available for children up to first grade.

11:00 a.m. Wednesday Mid-week Communion Services to be held on the following days in 2019: January 2, March 6 (Ash Wednesday), June 5, and October 2.

In the U.C.C. people may be baptized anytime from infancy through adulthood. One of the parents or sponsors should be a member in good standing of a Christian church when the one baptized is a young child.

Anyone requesting a baptism must meet with the pastor in order to finalize the date for the baptism. Baptisms are not normally scheduled on Sundays when Communion is also scheduled. Baptism requests may be made by completing the request form using the link below, or by calling the church office 610.759.0893.
