PLEASE NOTE UPDATED 03/18/2020 11:30 AM:

In the interest of Community Health Safety, our Church Leadership has decided that we will not gather, whether that means gathering for worship services or holding in-person meetings, until the CDC and/or our Pennsylvania state government changes their recommendations about gatherings.

We strongly urge all of our members to avoid crowds whenever possible.

Please use common sense and increased vigilance in hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and disinfecting common areas a little more frequently.

Our Wednesday Lenten meals and programs are cancelled for the reminder of Lent.

Church School, Confirmation gatherings and Youth activities are suspended and will remain so until the schools reopen.

In the event we are urged to continue social distancing, we are exploring options which would allow us to both participate online or to call in and listen on our phones from our homes.

Please join me in praying for each other and for all the people of the world in these challenging days. We can remain confident in God's care and love for all of us and encourage each other to take this forced interruption in our routines to reconnect with a God who is always there.

Please do not hesitate to call Pastor Jeff or BrendaLee if you have questions or concerns.

 Thank you for understanding.

 God Bless

Easter Food Baskets

At this time, Social Concerns is still working with Northampton County Children & Youth to put together Easter Food Baskets for many families in need. Therefore, in lieu of purchasing items, we are asking that if you are able, to please mail a check to St. John’s to cover the face value cost of any Easter Eggs taken off of the tree in the DeRemer Gallery. And, if you had not taken an egg off the tree, would you please consider making a donation to help cover the cost of a gift card or two?

Please make check payable to St. John's UCC and mail  to the church - 183 S. Broad Street, Nazareth PA 18064 and mark you donation to the Social Concerns Easter Baskets. Many thanks!
