Holiday Baskets & Have a Heart, Take a Heart Tree


Safe Harbor

Providing meals to families in need during the Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and at the start of Summer. The Have a Heart Tree provides children's Christmas gifts to families in need.


To motivate program participants to work toward self-sufficiency and to improve their quality of life while assisting them to meet their basic needs. Volunteers plan, cook and serve a meal once a month for in-house guests. If you would like to be a part of this Social Ministry, please contact Sandy Tanzocs at 610-417-7436. Loaves & Fishes


Nazareth Area Food Bank

In conjunction with several churches in Nazareth and Bath, this is a soup kitchen, which serves the residents of Nazareth and Bath, offering meals every Saturday of the month.  St. John's UCC hosts Loaves & Fishes the third and fourth Saturday of every month from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. All three churches involved are equal opportunity providers.


In the spirit of community, service and sharing, the Nazareth Area Food Bank aims to provide for the needs of hungry people with dignity and compassion by gathering and sharing quality food.

Second Harvest Choice Food Pantry at St. John's UCC

Offers individual, marriage, family, and pastoral counseling on a sliding fee scale.


Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread... This pantry, a satellite location for Nazareth and Bath residents, is a once a month opportunity for families and individuals to take home non-perishable food items and occasionally perishable items when available on the fourth Saturday of every month from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
