Order your Poinsettias

If you would like to place a beautiful Christmas poinsettia plant in our sanctuary for the holiday, you may begin to order them as of November 11. Simply fill out one of the envelopes in the DeRemer Gallery and include your $11 cash or check payment or call the church office.

Also, please be sure to designate if you would like the plant to go to one of our homebound members, or if you will be taking the plant home following one of the Christmas Eve services.

The deadline for ordering plants is Sunday, December 9. They will be placed in the Sanctuary beginning Sunday, December 16.

Place your orders for Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Raisin, Butter Sugar, M&M and Coconut Cookies in the DeRemer Gallery beginning Sunday, December 2 and order through December 16. $3.50 per dozen. Packaged as gifts, pick up cookies on Sunday, December 23. Proceeds benefit The Summer Crew.

Second Harvest Choice Food Pantry at St. John's UCC

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread...
This pantry, a satellite location for Nazareth and Bath residents, is a once a month opportunity for families and individuals to take home non-perishable food items and occasionally perishable items when available on the third Saturday of this month.  The next food pantry opportunity will be held on Saturday, December 15, from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Worship Opportunities

8:00 a.m. Sundays A liturgical service with traditional music.

10:45 a.m. Sundays A blended worship experience with audio visuals in a family friendly environment. Child care is available for children up to first grade.

11:00 a.m. Wednesday Mid-week Communion Services to be held on the following days in 2018: January 3, February 14 (Ash Wednesday), May 2, July 11, and October 3.

Baptism

In the U.C.C. people may be baptized anytime from infancy through adulthood. One of the parents or sponsors should be a member in good standing of a Christian church when the one baptized is a young child.

Anyone requesting a baptism must meet with the pastor in order to finalize the date for the baptism. Baptisms are not normally scheduled on Sundays when Communion is also scheduled. Baptism requests may be made by completing the request form using the link below, or by calling the church office 610.759.0893.
