Golf Tournament

The St. John's golf tournament will be on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Whitetail Golf Club in Bath, PA. Register by 8:00 a.m. Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds to benefit The Community Parish Health Program administered by St. John's UCC.

Four-Man Scramble at $85/golfer. Continental breakfast, greens fee, cart, range balls and hot buffet lunch are included. Prizes will be awarded. Registration forms may be printed via the May newsletter tab above or are available in the DeRemer Gallery.

Nursery School Summer Program

6 special sessions to enhance your child's summer. Classes run 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday and are open to preschoolers three to five years of age including those entering kindergarten in the fall.

Rummage Sale

On Saturday, June 10 from 8 am—3pm,
we will be having a Rummage Sale. Gently used/like new items to be collected include baby items, books, clothing, craft supplies, furniture, kitchen items, toys, linens, tools and more.  A full list of items can be found in the May edition of our newsletter under the "News & Events" tab above.

Items will be collected on the following days:
6/1: 9-11am, 3-5pm, & 6-8pm
6/2: 9-11am, 3-5pm, & 6-8pm
6/3: 9am-1pm
6/4: 10:30am-1pm
6/5: 9am-7pm
6/6: 9am-4pm

Light lunch fare items and baked goods will be on sale.

Second Harvest Choice Food Pantry at St. John's UCC

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread...
This pantry, a satellite location for Nazareth and Bath residents, is a once a month opportunity for families and individuals to take home non-perishable food items and occasionally perishable items when available on the fourth Saturday of each month.  The pantry will be held on Saturday, May 27, from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Let us help you plan your wedding. You do not have to be a member of St. John’s UCC.  We will provide an organist, our sanctuary, a wedding host, a minister, a marriage preparation workshop and a rehearsal.

Worship Opportunities

8:00 a.m. Sundays A liturgical service with traditional music.

10:45 a.m. Sundays A blended worship experience with audio visuals in a family friendly environment. Child care is available for children up to first grade.

11:00 a.m. First Wednesdays Mid-week communion service to be held on the first Wednesday of the following months in 2017: January, March, May, July, September, December.

Baptism

In the U.C.C. people may be baptized anytime from infancy through adulthood. One of the parents or sponsors should be a member in good standing of a Christian church when the one baptized is a young child.

Anyone requesting a baptism must meet with the pastor in order to finalize the date for the baptism. Baptisms are not normally scheduled on Sundays when Communion is also scheduled. Baptism requests may be made by completing the request form using the link below, or by calling the church office 610.759.0893.
